Role of FFC in Achieving Food Security in Pakistan

Garnering decades of industry leadership and best practices, FFC has devised this program to consider and address all factors contributing to the decline of food security in the country.

As one of the major stakeholder towards agriculture and farming community in Pakistan, FFC is rightly seen as the patron of farmer’s welfare, uplift and wellbeing in the country. Post 1982, the company has invested over a billion rupees towards the realization of this goal, working with the farmers at every step.

FFC’s social uplift and farmers’ welfare initiatives date back to the early 1980s with the launch of FFC Agri Services, which is aimed at capacity-building of farmers. In the same spirit, the Sona Welfare Foundation (SWF) – the not-for-profit organization (NPO) and implementing partner of FFC – is at the forefront of responsible and sustainable welfare practices, with strict adherence to global standards, social welfare, and uplifting national living standards and image since 2011.
